Write your Will for free with our trusted partners

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to write their Will with confidence and ease. That’s why we offer straightforward and accessible Will writing services, available online, at home, over the phone, or with a local solicitor.

RNIB has partnered with the National Free Wills Network, Octopus Legacy and the Goodwill Partnership to provide a free* service, enabling you to write your Will in a way that suits you.

*RNIB pays a discounted rate which covers the cost of a simple Will. If your Will is more complicated, you may be charged for additional services. The provider will advise you of this and any fees you may have to pay.

The importance of your legacy

Gifts in Wills play a crucial role in supporting RNIB, accounting for over a third of our income and helping us provide essential services for blind and partially sighted people. Many people who use this service choose to leave a gift to RNIB but, of course, there is no obligation to do so.

We know it’s easy to put off writing a Will, but having one in place is incredibly important. It ensures your wishes are respected and that the people and causes you care about are remembered in the way you choose.

  2. Choose the solicitor you would like to use and book an appointment at your convenience.
  3. Write your Will and sign the declaration form. If you proceed with the service, the National Free Wills Network will notify RNIB (only with your permission).

To get started, simply complete the contact the legacy team form with your full name and address and we can pass on your details for you or answer any questions you might have. Alternatively, you can give us a call on 0330 002 0051 or email [email protected].

After the referral, you may receive additional letters relating to the service from RNIB and the National Free Wills Network. If you no longer want to use the service, you can let us know at any time by contacting us on the details above.
