Foreign and old currency
Collect your surplus foreign and old British money for RNIB and make a real difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people in the UK.
If you have any surplus foreign currency from your overseas trips, or any unusable old British currency hiding at the back of the drawer, we’d love to receive it!
Every box you fill and return could be worth an average of £50 for RNIB.
Order your box today and you will be sent all the information you need to pack up the currency and send it back to us – for free.
We accept:
- old British currency
- all foreign banknotes, no matter how old
- all foreign coins
- Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey currency.
Please don’t include:
- gaming tokens
- transportation tokens.
Why donate?
Every day, 250 people will begin to lose their sight, and many will face a future without help or support. By supporting RNIB, you can help to create a world without any barriers for people with sight loss.
Get everyone involved
Donating foreign and old currency is an easy way to support us at home, work or in your local community. We've put together a Q&A and a poster so that you can get your friends, family and work colleagues involved too:
Stamps
You can also support RNIB by donating used stamps. Just collect the stamps from any cards and letters that arrive - we’d love to receive them.
