A hands-on introduction to the world of tactile images and maps.
This workshop will outline the key factors relating to the development of tactile images and maps.
Who should attend
This workshop is appropriate for professionals making decisions about the provision of tactile images, maps and touch tours for blind or partially sighted people.
Learning outcomes

Understand the difference between visual and tactile recognition that underpins the use of any tactile image
