This week, the Media and Culture Department at RNIB has released a Digital TV usability checklist.
The purpose of the checklist is to assist blind or partially sighted people who are looking to buy a digital television. The checklist includes questions that could help you identify accessibility features that you would find helpful.
You may find that you need to take some of these questions to the shop assistant but you should be able to answer the rest yourself after having tried the device.
Please note: The questions cover a wide range of sight loss issues so they will not all be relevant. You will need to decide which questions apply to your sight condition.
