Early years sensory sessions at RNIB Pears Centre

Are you a parent or carer of a young child with additional needs? Come and take part in our themed sensory sessions for babies and children aged 0 to 5 years with a range of sensory, learning, physical, social and emotional needs.

Activities

Activities include:

  • sensory games with light, sound and tactile materials
  • interactive signing
  • music and singing.

Each session is planned by a Qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (QTVI) in accordance with the Foundation Stage Stepping Stones (under EYFS guidelines). Sessions are followed by the chance to talk with QTVIs and other specialist professionals.

Details

Where? In a brand new purpose-built sensory room at RNIB Pears Centre, Ash Green, Coventry.
When? Tuesday mornings, 10-11.30am.
Who? Pre-school children aged 0-5 years with any form of disability or social and emotional needs and a parent/carer.
Cost: £4 per child (light refreshments will be provided).
