Children's Home graded outstanding by Ofsted
RNIB Pears Centre for Specialist Learning's Children's Home has been awarded an 'Outstanding' grade by a recent Ofsted inspection.
A clean sweep of the 'Outstanding' grade was achieved across all of our care services for children and young people. As well as RNIB Pears Centre, this covers the 16-19 years provision at The Stan Bell Centre at RNIB College Loughborough and RNIB Sunshine House Children's Home.
Linda Cope, Registered Manager said, "I am very proud of the care team here at RNIB Pears Centre, and it was a delight for me to receive this excellent feedback from our inspector about the care and attention that she witnessed during her two-day inspection."
