Music technology

Music technology is a fast-moving and constantly evolving area, whether your interest is writing music, translating printed sheet music into Braille, or editing and sequencing audio.

This section contains information on a range of topics and projects of specific interest to blind and partially sighted musicians. We make every effort to ensure the information in this section is correct and up-to-date, but please contact us by email to mas@rnib.org.uk if you think we have missed something.

Why not check out our blog on useful iOS music applications for blind and partially sighted musicians and if you are an iPad user, or considering getting one, take a look at our blog on iPad for partially sighted musicians.

Finally, our technology section contains further information on a range of technology in general.
