What's the story?

Take part in Read for RNIB Day and make a difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people in the UK

Every 15 minutes someone in the UK begins to lose their sight. RNIB is only able to reach one in three people who need us most.

Join us for Read for RNIB Day 2013 - with your support, the story could be so different. Read for RNIB Day is Friday 11 October but you can choose the date that's best for you.

How RNIB opens up a world of reading

Help open up a world of books to children like TiriTiri's story

When Alice ventured down the rabbit hole into Wonderland, she discovered a world full of imagination and delight. RNIB opens up a world of reading to children like Tiri with large print books.

RNIB's Talking Book Service helps children like LukeLuke's story

Luke has Rod Cone Dystrophy, and can barely read large print. Despite this, ten-year-old Luke has read more than most of the other children in his school through RNIB's Talking Book Service.
