When Alice ventured down the rabbit hole into Wonderland, she discovered a world full of imagination and delight. RNIB opens up a world of reading to children like Tiri with large print books.
"I read Alice in Wonderland when I was about nine.
There were so many amazing things in it, the Mad Hatter (who quite scared me at the time!), the rabbit hole, and the little door that Alice went through to Wonderland. I also loved the bit where she gets bigger and smaller.
It is a great book for any age to read. It is written very well and really sparks your imagination! I read it by myself and then when we did a class project on it the next year, I was the Alice in Wonderland expert! After that I couldn't wait to read 'Through the Looking Glass.'
Now I read all the time and very much enjoy reading my large print books."
