2012 has been a year of memorable events and celebrations, so in keeping with this theme we are inviting all of our members to write about their own unforgettable life experiences for this year's "life writing" competition.
Competition details
-
Find your inspiration and learn from other RNIB members about how to make writing accessible by taking part in free life writing telephone group workshops.
-
Have your work judged by Radio 4's Short story producer Di Spears and professional Ghost writer Hannah Reiner.
-
All entrants will receive an audio copy of their work recorded by a volunteer.
-
The top three winning entries will receive a copy of their work recorded by an actor, and will be broadcast on Insight radio and featured in Vision and Read On magazines.
-
In no more than 1000 words, we want to hear about your life experiences, whether they are short stories, essays, diary entries or any other creative form.
Entries are welcome whether happy, sad or just plain odd: we are seeking entries that are original and tell a compelling story, based on personal experience.
