Raffle rules
Thank you for supporting RNIB.
These terms and conditions refer to online entry to our mainland Britain raffle.

Participation in this raffle costs £1 per raffle ticket.

Entrants must be residents of Great Britain and 16 years of age or over. This means that entries will be accepted from Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and BFPOs.

Employees of RNIB who are directly involved in the running of this raffle are ineligible to enter this raffle.

Monies raised by this raffle will support the general work of RNIB, registered charity number 226227.

Participation in this raffle can be made by returning ticket stubs in the post with appropriate payment (cheque payable to RNIB or credit/debit card details) or through this website with payment by credit or debit card where you will be advised of new ticket numbers.

Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw only when the whole payment is received.

RNIB accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.

Any ticket entries received after the closing date may miss entry into the draw and therefore will be considered as a donation to RNIB.

Raffle tickets will be drawn randomly.

The first ticket number drawn will win £20,000 cash.

The second ticket number drawn will win £1,000.

The third ticket number drawn will win £500.

The fourth and fifth ticket numbers drawn will win £250.

The sixth, seventh and eighth ticket numbers drawn will win £100.

The ninth, tenth and eleventh ticket numbers drawn will win £50.

The next 50 tickets drawn will win £10.

Prize winning cheques will be distributed to winners within 28 days of this draw, and will be sent to the address registered at the time players enter the draw.

The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

Winners will be notified by post, email or telephone within two weeks of the draw date. A list of winners will also be published at: www.rnib.org.uk/raffle

Please keep the ticket or allocated number as proof of purchase.

Where RNIB is unable to contact a prize-winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for six months following RNIB's first attempt to notify the prize-winner, RNIB may apply the prize as it sees fit, including re-offering the prize in future raffles.

All winners are required to co-operate with RNIB's right to publish their win as and where deemed appropriate, and to provide proof of age when requested.

RNIB is registered with the Gambling Commission to operate this raffle, remote licence number 000-004968-R-314007-001. These licences are issued under Part 5 of the Gambling Act 2005. The person responsible for this raffle is Steven Greenberg.

In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the competition in any way, the organisers reserve the right to administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred. Where the organisers deem it appropriate and/or feasible RNIB will notify entrants of the error.

Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. RNIB reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.

Self-exclusion

The exclusion will start after you notify us with your intentions and will last for a minimum of six months.

Complaints
Any complaints regarding our raffle can be made directly to RNIB by contacting our dedicated supporter care team at:

We will aim to respond to initial complaints and queries within 48 hours of receipt of the complaint.
If the complaint is not satisfactorily resolved, the matter will be escalated appropriately.
Every complaint will be taken seriously and fully considered by RNIB in order that a satisfactory resolution can be achieved.
In the event that a satisfactory outcome can still not be reached, the matter will be referred to The Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS), which acts as an impartial adjudicator on disputes that arise between gambling operators and their customers.

The player will be provided with IBAS referral details.

The outcome of IBAS intervention will be reported to the Gambling Commission.
Privacy policy
This policy (together with our terms and conditions of use and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.
RNIB works with a number of third party organisations in the operation of this raffle. RNIB retain control and responsibility of any data collected and in the following text where the words 'we' and 'our' are used, they refer to RNIB or it's approved suppliers as specified below.

Information we may collect from you
We may collect and process the following data about you: Information that you provide by filling in forms on or linked to our website www.rnib.org.uk (our site). This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site, entering competitions or raffles, or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you enter a competition or promotion sponsored by any of our partner networks, advertisers or affiliates, and when you report a problem with our site.
