Hear from our supporters at Virgin London Marathon 2010

Well done to everybody who took part in the London Marathon

A massive thank you to each and every runner in the Virgin London Marathon 2010!

We had our biggest ever team, with 122 RNIB runners, who endured the sun and the rain to complete the famous 26.2 mile course.

Dan's story

Dan Larcey ran the marathon for RNIB in 2010 and said "The marathon was the most amazing experience, totally life changing. I have always been into sport but was never a runner. I was inspired to give it a try after seeing a blind runner complete a half marathon with her co-runner. I started training six months ago and running through winter was brutal. The day was hard, but the crowds were amazing, and I was determined to get round. I loved the day and am looking forward to doing it again next year!"

Not ready to take on a full marathon yet? Why not try the Asics British 10km 2011? Set in London, much of the course will be the same as the route used for the men's and women's Olympic marathon courses in 2012. This is a great opportunity to live the Olympic dream but over a shorter distance.
