Although technology can seem daunting, you don't need to be an expert to use it or enjoy the many benefits it can bring to everyday life.
Switch on to technology month is all about highlighting some of the great products that are out there and how you can make the most out of them.
Although the month is over, you can still download our technology beginners' guides below or order a copy in your preferred format from the RNIB Helpline. We also have four technology themed interviews to listen to. You can listen to the interviews below or order them from our Helpline on audio CD.

Sightline directory
Having quick and easy access to the organisations that support people with sight loss is a great way to maintain your independence and find out what's available for you locally.
Sightline directory lists the people, organisations and services that can help you maintain independence, from technology support through to local social activities or residential care. You can search the directory and discover who's there to help both locally and nationally.
Each listing contains a brief description of the organisation or service, a location map, opening times (if applicable) and contact details, so you can be fully informed about the support that could be available to you. You can also read reviews of organisations from other users, and add a review yourself.
Visit the Sightline directory to get started with your search.
