If you're interested in becoming one of our volunteers then applying is really simple! Whether you know which role you'd like to do or not, just fill in one of our application forms and return it to us. One of our friendly team will then be in touch to discuss the information you have provided on the form to match your skills/personal experience to one or more of the many opportunities we have on offer.
You can fill in the application form in a variety of ways. If you want to apply for a role electronically, please download and complete the application form.
If you would prefer to receive a paper copy then please either telephone us on 0845 60 30 575 or 01733 375450 with your address details or, you can email your request to us at volunteering@rnib.org.uk
We can send the application form in whichever format suits you; whether it is braille, audio, large print or standard print please just let us know in your request and we can have this arranged for you.
Please be aware that the majority of our volunteering opportunities do not have a closing date. The role will come down from the website when the service manager wishes to stop advertising. This could be because a volunteer has been found or the manager has sufficient people to interview. It is therefore advisable if you are interested in applying for one of our volunteering roles that you apply quickly.
