We offer individual and group support for blind and partially sighted people, so that you feel empowered to access all the services you want in your local community.
What we do
We work with individuals and their key health and social care professionals, in all five HSC Trusts in NI.
We also deliver Visual Awareness Training to statutory, private and voluntary sector organisations. This training is designed to equip organisations with the skills and knowledge to include blind or partially sighted people in all aspects of their services.
Tandem Clubs
At the moment we run tandem clubs from our Lisburn, Coleraine, Derry/Lderry and Omagh offices with volunteer Pilots available to meet and cycle with anyone wishing to get involved.
Just contact us to make arrangements to meet and ride out with one of our volunteers.
Other sports and leisure activities
RNIB NI also supports many different sporting and leisure groups that meet on a regular basis throughout Northern Ireland. These are facilitated by our Community Vision Coordinators, Activity Leaders and Youth Officers. From walking to swimming, from ten pin bowling to yoga.
