What is an ECLO?
The Eye Clinic Liaison Officer (ECLO) role is an integral part of the eye care pathway. Our ECLOs provide emotional support, often at a time of great need. They also signpost patients on to the many different services to help maintain their independence.
The role of Eye Clinic Liaison Officer has developed over the past fourteen years in the UK, and is a big step forward in bridging the gap between health and social care services for blind and partially sighted people.
